Safety Guidelines

Safety is the foundation of everything the NHPA does. All members are expected to follow local, state, and federal regulations when handling fireworks.

General Safety Rules

• Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Never consume alcohol or impairing substances during shoots.
• Follow all shoot site and range officer instructions.
• Only handle fireworks you are trained and licensed to use.

Training & Compliance

NHPA regularly hosts safety briefings, training days, and certification reviews. Participation may be required for certain events.
